We're excited to announce we have developed and released a Beta of the first GPT assistant for English Language Arts teachers, called "ELA Classroom Buddy". This assistant, powered by OpenAI, helps teachers with creating standards-based readings, discussion questions, writing prompts, and lessons for Kindergarten through 5th grade students. The chatbot has detailed knowledge of Common Core State Standards in English Language Arts, and is able to help teachers focus directly on creating classroom activities based on the current topics being studied and the specific standards being practiced.
ELA Classroom Buddy is available to all K-5 teachers for free. (Note that a OpenAI ChatGPT Plus account is needed to access the assistant, and that GPT assistants are currently in Beta.)
